Simulation of drug information skills in the medical information department

Purpose: To utilise DIcipher, an escape-room challenge, to provide a simulation of using drug information (DI) skills answer questions in the medical (MI) department within pharmaceutical industry. Methods: The 15-minute challenge required groups solve one clue and retrieve DI about iron deficiency anaemia. resources were used search for answers unlock box with antidote. A debriefing session followed Likert scale survey was administered obtain student perception. Results: total 15 second fourth year pharmacy students at university participated completed survey. No retrieved antidote by answering all correctly. All agreed that provided realistic view how apply industry-based setting. Conclusion: This demonstrated function pharmacist MI students.
